Particularly like the structure, especially the single item after they ‘come together’. And the single thing in common being ‘swim team’ got me smiling. Plus, I just like stories that are made up of a list or lists.
I don’t usually like list type stories, but this was very well done. Nice rivalry story.
Unusual form, but well done. Nice.
This is very cool and I found myself starting to take “sides” which is an interesting way of manipulating your reader. I like the way you tied it up at the end too. Great poem/flash
Really super structure, how parents/family brings the flock home, then after, the birds disperse. Evoked a lot about my own relationship with my sister and my father (who died last December). Peace…
